front speakers vibrate

Featured Replies

i have a fabia 3 estate and i find the front speakers vibrate, its the tweeters most, can anyone tell me is this the norm or do i have a

problem (i do have the stereo up loud about 22 to 24 most of the time)

If the system is anything like whats in my Octy then having the volume at 22-24 the tweets will vibrate! try adding more to the rears with fader and reduce the bass.

Is the vibration coming from the speaker or from the trim? Tweeter is located on the A pillar, maybe you can open and check it...

I had a problem with a rear speaker and had it back to the dealers. They said that the speaker needed more padding around it, as it was vibrating against the the door panel. Funny it has started doing it again, back we go.

Mind I have never had mine above 17 on the volume (must be that I am over 40)

i would replace them- i have my stereo quite loud sometimes 25 - 30 but normally round 20 and they just stopped working, now and again they come on and go back off. you can get replacements for as little as tenner if its just the tweeters you need . .
