Rear Fog Warning Lights

Featured Replies

Does the New Superb have one or two operating Fog Warning Lights? I seem to remember that both worked on the original German launch models. The old Superb only had one until it was modified. Not that I use them that often.

It's got 2.

Is it very sad that one of the first things I did was check how many it had?

It annoys me when cars have one for some reason.

me too. my A6 which i have just sold was one of the earlier new shape models and had one fog and one reversing light. It was a 37k car with LED rear lights as an option but only one fog and one rev. Apparently there is some research to show one light is easier to spot than 2 in that it is irregular and different from what a driver is used to seeing. they reckon 2 fogs could be mistaken for brake lights in some circumstances. i can see the point but do prefer 2.

one rev light was silly because if you were approaching the car , as a pedestrian, in a car park from the side where there was no light then the car could be reversing and you could not see the light. The silly thing was that the light clusters had spaces for the misisng lights as they were symmetrical clusters. its just they had a blank in them. later cars had two i think !
