Carbonio Intake TDI 1.9

Featured Replies

anyone got one on their 1.9tdi 130. any good worth spending 200 snoops??

have a EVOMS kit on my 110, make a nice noise for a diesel anyway and gave a decent increase when combined with exhaust changes

thinking of getting one before my remap but wanted to hear any reviews of any probs/ gains ect..

just seen u have a superb, so intake is different to octy, so cant really comment, but to be fair carbonio are good, and the airbox is right next to the exhaust on the superb so your be wanting a fully enclosed kit which the carbonio will be, either that or just get a uprated panel fillter

do you recon there won't be alot of gains difference between a carbonio and a panel filter then??

personally I would stick with a Panel Filter, they give about the same performance gains leaving you with some money in your pocket for other things

Agreed.

For more air I think the best idea (in a Superb) is to... er... whack up the boost!

The intake pipes are fairly large, so I think the only gains here would be to optimise the routing to the intercooler or something.
