Featured Replies

thats the colour i have ordered !!

wish they would stop going on about the bloody umbrella !! and wish they werent all paid a bung by fard to big up the mondeo !!

who cares what lorry drivers think of the styling. how many times do you go past a car and thing - which idiot bought that ugly car ? beauty is in the eye of the beholder etc etc. i know who will have the last laugh - form over function comes to mind with many new cars. believe me i am an expert as we test drove most of them !!!

maybe they shud upgrade the umbrella into something a little more skoda like........say for example the skoda logo plastered all over it

jcblincs, Can you just confirm that colour is Satin Grey? Looks good, is it a bit bluey?

Definitely satin grey, and definitely bluey, as you can see here:

It's a nice colour, and I know that a lot of the Skoda press fleet were ordered in it. Our account manager did, as did several of his colleagues.

Bagpuss.

Thanks Bagpuss....you wouldn't be able to point me in the direction of a photo of an anthracite grey example would you?

I've still not ordered (hence still thinking colours), our fleet manager has disappeared and one of the accountants has picked up the task of benchmarking my request to see if it's a yes...should find out this coming week.

Sorry for being so lazy...just done as earch and found what I wanted!

I see the photo shows the optional " Luna " wheels. They look easier to clean than the Themisto ones on the Elegance!

It's not ugly it's unusual, although I have to agree it does look like 3 different departments designed it without talking to each other.

we chose satin grey as it does have some "colour" to it. we saw one at our local dealer with teh ivory leather. thats exactly what we wanted so it confirmed it to us. i think that the true grey colours (anthracite and steel) are too boring. there are too many silver/black/grey cars around and we wanted colour. all the rest of the colours were too dark for our tastes. satin grey really shoudl have had the word "blue" in the title i reckon. in some lights it looks more grey but in the sun it looks blue.

The Honda equivalent is called Blueish Silver!....sums it up perfectly I think.

maybe it got lost in translation from czech to english !

I had an Omega in a slightly different shade called Magic Grey.

Now that's confusing! What colour is "Magic" - sounds like a very philosophical question...
