Sports Suspension

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Does anyone know if Sports Suspension is an option on the new Superb, Its seems to be an option (including the old Superb) on all Skoda cars except this model. Anyone know any different?

cheers

My local dealer couldn't find an optional sports suspension on the old one. :(

not an option as far as i know.

not really appropriate for this kind of car i would say

the suspension on the new superb is much better than the old. it feels firm (not hard) and balanced. i did the "how fast can i drive round a roundabout before i feel sick / like i am going to lose it" test and was very surprised. the car stays level and does not wallow on the back roads but its not too hard. only really big potholes rough roads shake the car a bit (mostly down to the silly big alloys and low profile tyres) i am swapping the 18" on my elegance for 17" SE wheels as the SE i drive was less prone to this. i might even go to 16" wheels so as to get more sidewall rubber and improve things a bit more but i am concerned they might look silly and might actually be worse for the car balance.

Lowered (albeit not necessarily Sports) is coming on the new Greenline?

It will be option once the Greenline is launched most likely.

Although as said above it won't really be Sports suspension it will probably only be a minimal drop.

I requested Sports Suspension on my Superb (Still waiting for it to arrive.......sigh) My Dealer checked it out with Skoda UK and it seems it is not a option here. It is available on the Continent though. After reading the reviews I am now quite glad I did not have it as all the reports say the standard suspension controls the car very well
