Started to mod the vRS

Featured Replies

I didn't think I would do this, I sort of said to myself that I wouldn't BUT after the fun I had in modifing my S6, it's like a drug... :(

The jetex filter turned up today, collecting the trumpet and pipe (Seat Curpa 1.9TDi 160bhp) from Audi Parts tomorrow.

I have been in touch with Star Performance with regards to the 170 odd bhp upgrade

I'm trying to think of away to fit 5x112 (fitment) 17" alloys, the bore is the same at 57.1.

Then I'm thinking of a FMIC and a few other bits and pieces...

(nothing too drastic - honest)

It's a slippery slope mate , and it gets even worse when you get into detailing as well

I know that feeling I bought the car last september after spending £3000 on my focus I vowed not to modify the Fabia. Must have spent at least a grand on mods already!!

Davy

my car was staying standard too.

didn't last long though.

I was a lucky bugger most of mine was already done

I'm into that as well:O was very impressed with the new Megs G220 DA Polisher

Trouble is all our cars will end up at the scrappies one day. A good coat of wax is important to protect the paint, but I wouldn't worry about taking it too far with multiple layers of wax and fluffy polishing mitts:P.

Nice to see your making the car your own!

What rims you thinking about running?

I run 5x112 alloys.

I use H&R hub adaptors.

H&R / Wheel Hub Adaptors / Skoda Fabia / Euro Performance Car Parts

Thats Great!

Cheers

I have hubs, disks, calipers etc from another Audi S6 I broke up for spares but this is alot easier;)

I have a set of 17" Audi Boleroles with 245/40 tyres

Also a set of Avus 16" with 225/50 tyres

I wasn't doin mine either but I have started by taking the plastic strips off the door, having the handles colour coded and re-arranging the badges on the rear to begin with. VRS to middle and others slung! Thinking of other ideas but dont want to go over board. Will wait till i turn 25 before I start with the engine mods.

I fitted the new Jetex airfilter along with the Seat trumpet and pipe this evening:D

Ive owned about 16 cars and the Fabia is the only one I haven't modded yet.

Well apart from a sound system but that doesn't count.

I like it the way it is, but I am tempted to lower it a bit. I just know that once I do that i'll want a nice set of wheels and then.........you know the rest! lol

What cars have you had?

I liked my car as standard too, but I bought it with the intention of modding it so it'd be wrong not to :D

What cars have you had?

Ive had:

2 x BMW coupes (E36)

5 x Honda Civic

3 x Rovers (all were temporary cars in my defence and longest I had one was 3 weeks!)

2 x Fiat Punto GT

Seat Arosa

Vauxhall Cavalier (dont judge me please! My second Punto GT needed alot of work and I got offered a swap.....then I quicklygot rid!)

Vauxhall Astra mk3

Ford Fiesta mk3 (first car!)

Fabia vRS is the first diesel and unless I become quite well off then i'll be hard pushed to go back to petrol.

The smile:mpg ratio is FANTASTIC! :D
