WTB: Pioneer P-Series IP-Bus CD changer cable..

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Not sure if anyone can help me, but I'm trying to find a cheap Pioneer CD changer cable that I can butcher to make an AUX in adapter.

I've got the pinouts, I just need either an old cable, or just the female plug.

It's really annoying that Pioneer only sell the CD-RB20 in the UK, as I don't need the ability to attach a changer, I just want AUX in. Elsewhere in the world, they sell a CD-RB10 which is just AUX in, and only costs about 15 quid...... :(

If anyone can help me out, I'd much appreciate it.

Regards,

Bagpuss.

Thanks for the reply Josh.

I'm happy to say that I've already got this sorted, thanks to my local car stereo dealer. He had an old IP-Bus cable lying around which he sold me for a fiver.

I've chopped one end off, and wired up two RCAs to the appropriate pins, and hey presto, one AUX in adapter. :)
