Hello all

I've just bought a Skoda Felicia estate, my first Skoda, so I thought I'd join this site. Its a very high mileage (96,000) bought as a run around whilst I can get the funds together to buy a newer car. My first decent drive in it yesterday revealed a few quirks and bumbs which I need some advice on assessing, so I look forward to learning from others about how best to look after this car and get the most out of it.

Hey everyone. My car is developing what I'm 99% sure is topmount bearing noise when slow manoeuvring, not so much a creaking but more of a bearing moving kind of noise (people who have had it I'm sure will know what I mean). . I've has it on other cars too. . My car only has 27k on and is a 68 plate facelift vrs. What are my chances of getting it sorted under warranty? . . I've only owned the car just over 4 months and it's already had the water pump replaced

Hi all, hoping for some guidance. started my car today which is parked in a basement garage in Sydney Australia. For the first time ever it spluttered and the engine stopped. Started again and gave it a rev and it spluttered a little and then smoothed out. Probably due for spark plugs and air filter - any other ideas of what to look at? Petrol 2015 plate Octavia VRS turbo petrol 2.0L engine completely stock.

What it says on the tin, really; recently my oil warning light came on, flashed a few times, made a really loud intermittent beeping sound, and then turned off again. This happened several times during a journey, but actually stopped after a little while. I checked the oil level, and its fine, so I reckon it's an issue with the oil pressure sensor/switch (I did get an OBD tool, but that came up as no error codes, so I'm really in the dark here). Evening Everyone, I've been dealing with an overheating issue the past year and after doings tons of research and trying other thing, such as replacing the thermostat, I believe the water pump to be the culprit. My car's a 2014 Octavia 2.0 TDI vRS.
