Which wheels for Superb?

Featured Replies

Hi again!

I have now like 3 or 4 candidates for new wheels... And now I'm humbly asking for your opinions... And the colour of Superb will be Candy White

First one:

And 2nd:

Or the 3rd:

Or finally the fourth:

So hard to choose...

They all look a bit fussy to me.

I'd always try to get OEM wheels.

Someone is selling nearly new Golf Edition 30 alloys with tyres for about £1k on pistonheads which are a lovely graphite colour. would look very nice on a white car.

mmm - bit too bling for me. all look like they are polished or is that just the photos. are they really much cheaper than the skoda ones ? will help you to sell it better if you have original factory fit skoda ones on it. Its a car that is not really suited to aftermaket tuning / modifying its more of a refined vehicle so stick with the skoda wheels !!

Christ! They all look a bugger to keep clean! :thumbdwn:

1k? Seems a lot of dollar. You could pick up some Bentley rims for that money.

I'd go with the first ones, although perhaps keep the OE's as winter rims...

£1k is a lot of cash but that only works out to £250 a corner including tyres for nearly new very rare rims that would probably be £350 a corner plus rubber. I doubt many others would end up with the same combo.

A point well made.

It would be a serious financial mistake for someone to swop wheels from the original size.

Wouldn't it?

I think the serious financial mistake would be buying a Superb in the first place...

If you had to it would be number 2 but I don't like any and would think you could find much nicer ones from the VAG OEM catalog.

None of them for me, sorry! None of them seem to suit the Superb's shape.

I noticed a set in Awesome GTi's section of the forum today too; seemed a good price and might be what you're after? http://briskoda.net/awesome-gti/best-ever-offer-awesome/126510/

Steve

They are a good price for massive slabs of Momo metal, I must admit.

Momo alloys eh, are we headed back to the nineties?

*goes off in search of 5x112 TSW Venoms*
