Which exhaust?

Featured Replies

Which exhaust is the best / sounding for the fabia VRS?

Im getting de-prived of noise!

do a search, there's loadsa threads about them. Likes of Blueflame/miltek/ seem to be popular.

You could always try the custom built option............

It's a diesel, they don't really have a sound; listen to the Le Mans Audis - they whooosh, as do the Seat TDI Leons in the WTCC.

As above it is a dielel so be realistic in terms of what sound you want to achieve. There are clips on you-tube but from what i have heard the 'blue flame' system is good.

Custom exhaust with a smaller sports backbox about 1/2 the size and less restrictive than the original, with a decat pipe here.

Quiet when cruising at speed, burbles around town and is pretty damn loud and deep when booting it above 2.8k

Im going for a custom job later on in the year or early next year.

Straight pipe with a turn down going to be brave and not have any boxes.

yes you are brave i just miss my petrol motors and want some sound!

Iv got a milltek on mine and at low revs just pottering along its pretty noticable ;)

Have you had any turbo issues with the de-cat Joel? I'm tempted but heard/read too many horror stories with de-cat on a standard turbo......

None, and lots of other people havn't either.

I have a boost gauge and have had no boost issues.

Custom all the way!

De-cat with smaller back box.

Mine's mostly quiet, but when you boot it there is a nice throaty rasp from the exhaust.

And no issues with the decat, been on since February now.

i just cant bring myself to just doing a de-cat...

knowing my luck il drive it that little bit hard one day and *BANG* there goes sumthing expensive.

was thinkin on a sports CAT but if there is no issues with a DE-CAT pipe then looks like i'm going down the custom exhaust route.

Just pray nothing goes *pop* lol :)

I just got the full turbo back miltek + decat, sounds nice from outside but most importantly for me was i didn't want to hear it inside the car which you can only just.

I didn't want a loud exhaust as the vrs is just my a to b car.

Blueflame cat-back all the way, looks better than the Milltek too imo

but blue-flame dont have the best after sales service.

Getting the custom pipe made up tomorrow.

No boxes, turn down, hidden!

will get a few pictures banged up tomorrow!

Heard the Milltek sounds deep like a rumbling drum !

Personally I dont see the point having a noisey diesel though. To me my silent BMW assasin makes me very happy wouldnt be very ninja like otherwise ;)
