Surely not I hear you say.

Well after a bit of a prang recently, (front bumper and wing) the car has been taken to Furrows in Shrewsbury. The insurance company were a bit of a pain but then I wasn't expecting anything else.

Despite the insurance co. messing me about a bit, the garage have kept me fully informed and been very helpful.

I have just had a phone call from them saying they have noticed that the tyres on the front will need replacing fairly soon (which is quite true they will) and would I like them to do it for me while the car is being repaired. Not only that but he had noted that I had toyos all round and had got prices for replacements. While they are a bit more expensive than I could get else where (and thats with the free fitting they have given me) I thought what the hell, saves a trip and some hastle.

While I know it is in their interest to get more money out of me, the have noted the fact that I seem to prefer a certain brand of tyre and taken the extra effort to offer me a service. So full marks to Furrows in Shrewsbury . I shall be using them again (hopefully not under the same circumstances!!)

I would have been cheeky and bought the tyres myself and took them down, save a few squid.

Pullman VW in Durham are superb one's as well, i'll be using them all the time now - great prices and great services. for my 20k miles service it ended up being cheaper than quoted price, turned out to be a nice surprise
