Key LOW SIGNAL

Featured Replies

Did a VAG COM scan on my year 2000 Octy 1 tdi 110 hp and found Key Low Signal Fault. Half the time when I put the key in the ignition the Immob Light flashes and I cannot start the car. I have tried the spare key which is less than one year old and still have the same problem. I replaced the relao (109 ?) that is associated with the Immob but no improvement.

I have a transponder & key barrell from another Mk1 Octy but cant figure out how to get the ring off the barrell..........and I am told that it has to ne "matched" to the car if replaced.

HAS anyone on the forum come accross this problem and how did U fix? and or recode if replacement is required? - Thanks
