Another Hesitation Question!

Featured Replies

If I take my 4x4 to just under the limiter, when I change gear the engine is still at around 4000rpm, but back on the throttle and the car seems to be completely flat for a second and then goes again. Does'nt feel like Lag. Is this the TIP collapsing perhaps? Ive seen the video of it on the MKIV forum and just wondered if it is the same problem:confused:

Had a thought while driving this morning, would I be right in thinking that the Tip collapes at high revs due to demand for more air, as opposed to on the gear change?

If its standard its what mine did until it was mapped, now its fine

so remap should cure it? only really noticable when giving it some beans, I change gear and its like someone stole my engine, then it comes back

The TIP on the skoda 1.8t should not collapse as they are metal where they connect to the turbo.
