Hellp there, dont know many people on here yet and not too good with computers so please forgive me if i do something wrong. I was introduced to this by a friend.

I was wondering if anybody had any concerns about their brakes? Has the pedal ever felt spongy? Or have they just messed up my service? The pedal feels ok but when you stop at the lights after a few seconds the pedal drops about two inches under my foot! They say its normal at the garage but im not sure, it just doesnt feel right. They say its because of the abs. Anybody else had this problem?

I've never heard of this and ABS will only kick in under heavy braking. Even then, it won't feel like the brake pedal is dropping considerably.

Get it back to the garage pronto or preferable to someone else.

The pedal should only drop if you apply the handbrake IIRC - it sounds to me like there's an issue with the master cylinder seals. Sponginess OTOH is a different matter, and usually happens if you cook your brakes when using normal fluid. Bleeding them until the cloudy fluid has stopped coming out and then topping up with fresh should sort you out there!
