I've been recommended Jeffreys in Warrington but their prices are about 10% higher than a fitted quote on blackcircles. Anyone got a recommendation for another reputable tyre place?

Don't seem to be good tyres in my size 195/65/15, now I know how fat birds feel when they're clothes shopping :(

Small family run place, I use them for all my tyre needs, Bike, my car, wifes car and Dave Bromley the guy that runs it is always great on price and they take care with fitting.

They get a HUGE thumbs up from me

The only other place I have used, and would reccomend is Tony Salt, again, family run and I have had good service from them if I have not been able to get in or get the exact tyre I needed from Bromley's

Supply and fit, can't be arsed getting them delivered and then finding a fitter.

Tried a bit of haggling? they have always been there or there abouts each time I have used them. Tony Salt don't have the car tyres listed on the website but they do stock a huge amount of them and have a great modern workshop. Could be worth a ring

Will try haggling and the other one tomorrow.

I live about half a mile from an Event Tyres branch (just looked it up and its supposed to be their "head office" FPMSL ) but I'd rather go to a little indy whether it be near work or home.

Any more offers?

Thanks to Fluffmeisters second recommendation I went to TST in Culcheth aka Culcheth Tyres

Fitted them in 20mins this afternoon, they beat Jeffreys by £10 a tyre and black circles by £3! Avon ZV5 for £51.50 each all in.

Huge :thumbup:from me.

( for the dubiously legal tyre they replaced)
