Should look good.

Not sure yet what would you recommend ?

Coilovers all the way.

I'd personally go for them.

Means you can alter the ride height if new wheels are bought.

Got mine for £275 from Venom for AP's.

Not that much price difference when your looking at good brand shocks and springs.

Jeez, I dunno, its certainly unusual and has echoes of the Suzukis in the Junior WRC, which I always liked the look of.

Maybe not the butchest looking car but very different and to me unique.

Well done.

I know you didn't ask me, but here's mine on KW V1's.

Reason behind that is cos when I bought the car all my m8s were doing well with nice sporty cars etc and thats exactly what I wanted but with fuel consumption and cheap insurance etc, but Def wanted a colour to stand out etc so went for the yellow option.

Wish they still did the Lemon yellow instead of the Sprint :orb_yuck:

Thats What Im thinking of having on mine ! Whats the ride like ???

Plus are those 17s or 18s on yours & what ride height is it there ???

I like suspension that doesnt brake your back on a bumpy road but doesnt role much in fast cornering. What u suggest ?

I'd like to lower mine by 35 to 40mm.

Your wheels look sexy as F*** must say !

His wheels are 17in TT comps mate:thumbup:

I agree, love those wheels on a Fabia:cool:

Nice car you got there btw:thumbup:

Xenons too!!

Ian:)

I like it. Looks very good, bet those wheels are a bugger to keep clean:)

I do like it on white wheels, very nice littlebull.

davy

Looking good.

Suit's the white spiders

I really like that actually! Great start! Keep it up.

On the different colour wheels issue, with yellow, I'd choose anthracite or black personally. But then, I'd never have a yellow car either - so to each his own

I'm a bit confused about the suspension though. How can you be booked in for something that you haven't decided on

Steve

Great combo of colour

Thanks. Those wheels were on the car when I bought it and I think they suit the solid look of the Fabia viewed side-on, so I agree with farky77.

Most of the specs for the car are in my sig. :)

The combination of 205/40/17 tyres and the KW coil-overs is a bit hard on the back, and its inclined to crash and bang over pot-holes and man-hole covers but there is no roll cornering, and almost no nose dive on braking. Its like a go-kart.

I'm not sure what the ride height is versus standard at the moment as I've been doing a bit of playing with the set-up. The ride height on the V1's is adjustable (within limits) using the allen-keys and special spanners supplied in the kit. I'd say mine is down about 45/50mm at the moment. In the picture the car is accelerating and the back has squatted a fraction. "Normal" appearance is a little more space between the arch and wheel at the back. I need to do more playing. :D

I'd suggest you try a 35 / 40mm drop initially and see how it looks and rides, bearing in mind that there are sometimes compromises to be made in looks versus comfort versus performance.

Good luck with it and keep us posted.

Ive got a choice they said just give us a weeks notice so they can order which ever I choose.

Like the white wheels with the yellow car. Great colour combo.

I would get coilovers for the VRS as well. I had eibach springs on mine and IMO it needed to drop further. I didnt do it as i was selling and i wanted to buy a propper sump guard first!

I've seen the Yellow & Black combo and thought it looked nice but aggressive.

I just wanted to keep it on the (Mellow) Yellow theme kinda unsuspecting to BMW / Merk /Jag (C*ck buisness men over confident W**kers) drivers ;) thinking it looks a tame / weak etc. As I drive past them on the third lane of the motorway I'd like them to think bo**ocks ive just been over taken by a bright yellow skoda with white wheels.

Keep it Yellow and make it Mellow = Wolf in sheeps clothing ;)

No offense to BMW / Merk / Jag drivers Cough ! Cough ! Cough !

...

Something like a daisy but not driving like Miss Daisy?
