Good Afternoon all,

My sis has just comes round in her 02 (9N Chassis) 1.2 Polo. The engine management light has been coming on and off. I did a scan with Vag-Com registered v409.1 and it has come up with a fault with the EGR valve.

Fault Code: 17811

I remeber reading somwhere that the EGR system can be tested. To save me registering with another website i was just wondering if any of you guys know how to do this testing with Vag-Com. I believe it can also be turned down or off?

Only the diesels can be altered iirc.

Test the valve in basic settings, channel 074 iirc.
