1st used Superb II on SUK website

It's a 140 TDI Elegance manual in black/black/black for £20k. 2000 miles. You'll have to go to Stirlingshire in the Highlands if you want it though. Think I'll wait for mine to be built.

Thats at my local dealers, Not quite in the highlands ;) but a very nice care nonetheless.

Every dealer in the UK will have an ex-demo one come mid December for sale, as we have to keep our demos for 3 months before we can sell them.

Only problem for us will be getting the cars to replace the sold demo cars as there are very few new unregistered Superbs in the country!

Would be a nice drive though if you picked itup from there wouldnt it ? :D

I wonder, who's got a white one? Hmmmmm!

Your a cabby in Brighton and you haven't got a Skoda!! NOOOO!!

We should have bets to see how long it will be until your back into a Skoda.

With the demise of our local dealer (Saltdean Garage) some while ago I opted for a Kia Carens last time round, didn't fancy a 60+ mile round trip every time I needed to visit the dealer! Am happy (to a point) with my choice but have enjoyed 3 Octys in the past (in fact was the 2nd cabby to buy an Octy from SG way back then!), would like a Superb 2 but not a new one, the depreciation would be way too high at an average of 45k miles a year hence my 'hint' at a White demo/courtesy car which at a year old with sensible mileage & several grand removed (+ the dreaded vat of course) would defo tempt my budget! Carens due to be changed in Sep or Dec 09, depends whether I keep it 2 years or run right up to the 100k warranty period. Only downside to a Skoda is the warranty, Kia are offering 5 years unlimited mileage to us, no need for main dealer servicing as long as genuine Kia parts are used, very tempting when my local independant garage charge me £40ph labour rate!

1 other simple thing has always put me off the Superb, the lack of a rear wiper, for me a must have as I work nights & Brighton is a busy place with lots of pedestrians (otherwise known as pi$$ed students lol) who have no idea when it comes to road safety!

Last but not least the addition of the DPF has created some problems, the job simply doesn't gel with the principle!

thats a tricky decision. no way would you get me in a Kia over a skoda....but i can see why in your position it makes sense ! the warranty on the skoda is a bit poor - you would think in their "manufacturer of happy drivers" they would beat the competition and go for a 4 yr warranty.

My original Octy had a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty, I've always questioned why SUK removed that, they sold a hell of a lot of Octys to the cab trade just on that alone!
