I noticed in my 56 Fabia vRS today that, by the little cubby hole to the right of my steering wheel (knee height), there is a pull plastic tab with the words 'ON' on it? Any ideas what it does? I tried it when the car was running but couldnt see anything happening? It slides in and out..?

Its a mini-fridge. If you have the A/C on and pull the "On" tab it cools things.

and if you pull out the drawer completely the OBD2 diagnostic socket lived behind it.

It works like the fridge in the glove-box (yes there's a fridge in the glove-box too). also

That freaked me out, I didnt know the cubby hole opened but I spent days checking what position it was in. I got quite worried about it until i was reduced to checking my owners manual.
