yeah there was talk of RIM delaying the launch due to the os crashing and being buggy but looks like they went ahead n launched . but im gonna try and get a hold of one to try it out as im sure it will be a great phone once the teething problems are solved:thumbup:

it looks nice but lacks wifi, however the new one from LG has wifi a decent camera etc, im really tempted but might wait to see if SE come up with anything soon that be worth waiting for.

Extra stuff

SE have the Xperia X1, I've not had a chance to play with it yet though! The Storm was ok, and I might get one if nothing else takes my fancy!!

c905

I now know of two people who have a storm and both of them have another phone to use because it's going down that often.

I'd be waiting until they have the issues fixed I think.

iPhone 3G :) Jailbreak it and the world is your errrm oyster :)

Obviously they were under pressure to get it released in time for Christmas and because of the plethora of touchscreen phones like the G1/Omnia/Tocco etc.

Its a shame it doesn't have WiFi but there is more to life than 802.11. If the HSPDA is reasonably quick and reliable then there shouldn't be a problem.

I've ordered one for it's unlimited web/email tariff. Should be getting it in a few days so i'll let everyone know how bad it really is!
