Hey there folks...

Just a quick one... onyone in the York area thats any good at spraying?

Had my N/S front wing replaced many months ago after some idiot X5 driver reversed into me and it was fine at first but has faded and is no where near as blue as the rest of the car and it doen't have the multi-coloured effect like the rest of the car (just looks pale blue while the rest of the car is a deep blue/green/purple colour).

Don't want to pay a hig amount so not going to bother talking it to be sprayed properly as there are other areas of the car that need it more (rusting boot lid etc) but would like the wing to match the rest of the car a bit better!

Was it done under the other guys insurance?

If so go back to them and get them to fix it.

No it was done outside of insurance as he volunteered to get it done himself to save claiming on insurance which I was happy with at the time as long as it got sorted.

Thing is I now live no-where near where it got done!

personally id leave it till you sell the car as it'll probably only fade again and can finishes are never as good as a pro job.

I know a few painters in York mate .Let me know and i can ask about for you
