Fabia =two different Steering Sensors?

Featured Replies

I have a sdi Fabia year 2000. The Steering Sensor on my car has the 3 to 4 foot cable permanently connected,with a 3 pin plug on the pump end. A local Breaker had a Fabia Sensor which had a simular length cable with 3 pin plugs on either end. This Sensor would not go fully home into the Steering Column.

I wondered if there has been changes in later models?Any Ideas please?

Yes, and it really isnt worth fitting a second hand sensor when a new one is £60 and has been modified.

Type 1. Plastic end capped sensor complete with cable

Type 2. Metal end capped sensor complete with cable (replaces above)

Type 3. Seperate sensor and cable, fitted to later cars, different rack.
