Ok, first of all, I did search and found lots of info.. but not my exact question.

I've got a vRS 04. It has one key (3 button).. I would like a spare as I'm sure I'll loose/snap this one (my last Fabia only had one key and for 2 years I protected it with my life)... my luck on keys must now be used up

It's gunna live in a draw and I wonderd what was the most basic key you can get that'll start the car?

Can i get basically a blade with a transponder?.. is this still offered or do I HAVE to have a radio key for the alarm? (book says as long as you start the car within 30secs it'll dis-arm).. anyone confim all the above?.. maybe any prices..

I do realise that with out any codes this is now dealer only.

If i remember a basic key is around £40-£45, and a 2 button key was around £80
