Had my skoda a little over a year and want to start modifying it

Featured Replies

I have a 1.4 16v elegance, in the dull green.

So far i am thinking lowering (30mm), removing the back badge and fitting a front splitter.

Does anyone know any other fairly cheap mods??

cheers

Have a search of the forum mate.

30mm drop wont be enough either. You want a good 55mm on a Fabia thats not a vRS ('cos vRS's are lower standard).

Other than that, how cheap is cheap? Whats your limit?

Could get a set of cheap alloys (2nd hand VAG ones are best I reckon).

Removing all badges (apart from the Skoda one) on the back is a good look IMO, but each to there own.

Also, remove rub strips. Thats free.

Before you drop the suspension, get a rear ARB. Not the cheapest item in the world, but it just revolutionises the drive. Then do the front bushes with LCR ones and then drop the suspension.

To be honest, why not just put the cash towards trading up to a vRS instead?

Two words "Jabba Sport"

Yea, Give the guys at Jabbasport a ring and see what they have to offer, although you would be better off saving up for a VRS and then modding that, if you're determined to keep your car then Jabba would be a good first port of call, mainly for the rear ARB annd bushes.... i mean that's what I did with my 1.4Mpi...

I'm trying to see how many times I can post a pic of my car in the space of 24 hours... lol.
