electric windows retro-fit

Has anyone ever tried to retro-fit OEM electric windows to their fabia classics (to the front seats only)?

I've already fitted the rclick remote central locking kit so I'm feeling kinda comfortable about taking off door cards and dash bits. I don't think aftermarket electric window kits look that great, so I was looking for anyones idea of how feasible, how much it would cost to retrofit the OEM kit.

I'm guessing I would need two new door cards, two motors and the wiring looms to/from the ECU... anything else?

Am I right in thinking that the current ECU would be ok with it (it's a 4-door 2001 Classic)?

Hello, I accidentally ran a master initialization adaptation reset inside my ABS module using OBDeleven, and it completely cleared out my long coding profile. My module is now showing a persistent 'Control module not coded' fault. My diagnostic device identifies the blank block template as a 29-byte structure. Could someone with access to an MQB MK100 offline software calculator help me generate my matching configuration code? Here is my hardware and chassis data: Vehicle: 2014 Škoda Octavia Mk3

65 Reg Octavia estate All my other windows work ok but on the driver's door window I have to hold down the button until the window is fully open. A quick press of the button closes it just fine but opening is the problem. There's no info in the manual that helps I can't help thinking I've had this problem before and somehow solved the problem but I can't remember how. My online research suggested holding the button down until it opened fully and continue holding for a few seconds, then closi

Hi, hopefully you won't mind my question here - I don't have an Octavia, but its close relative from a Spanish brand. But mechanically, they are same. Anyway, I have a 77kW CBZB. It worked flawlessly for the year I own the car, but when this summer started, I noticed occasional loss of power. It only happens in hot weather (around 30 degrees and up) with AC on. In most cases, it happened when I wanted to accelerate after mild climbing at lower gear at ~2000RPM. It feels almost like a limp mode
