Dance stereo - no sound at all

Featured Replies

I fiddled with the settings and now I have no sound at all from the speakers, no matter if it's CD, stereo or AUX. Any ideas what I have turned on or off?

Thanks

Maybe FADER or front-rear setting?

Not sure what happened but after I left the car for a few hours and then came back and tried it, it worked immediately. Feel a bit stupid I don't know why.......

What does "FADER" do?

(Thanks for your suggestion).

I'm not very happy with the BASS while I'm here. There's A LOT of vibration. The highs are far too high as well. Right now I'm have the bass at -5, medium at +5 and highs at -5. Seems impossible to get a good sound actually. How do other people find it? Perhaps something wrong with mine?

u not the only person who has had this problem.. i have had it happen twice

but then it just starts working after a while... it may just happen that the system gets heated up after playing music for a longer period of time..

fader

this helps in adjusting the sound volume .... u can set how much volume can be distributed to the right left or even front and rear speakers......

it is a real handy tool......it can also help a lot if certain speakers do not throw proper base.

I had the same problem 3 or 4 times in the past. Usually when pressed the track jump too fast to skip many tracks on an mp3 cd. I had to remove the ignition key ro reset the fault. I think it's a firmware problem, now I use the arrow keys slower and no problem at any time.

I have an mp3 cd in the slot. I got in the car and the wife had been listening to the radio. Tonight, I pressed cd to get my music back on as I have done many times after my wife has been driving. This time it said error and spat cd out. put it back in 3 times and still said error and kept spitting the cd out. Switched off radio, then back on, inserted cd and it was fine.

Stupid thing!!!

i felt the same after two days of having the stereo on volume 20 the two tweeters in the front blew - every now and then they rattle as if they are trying to work. you can replace them with fli 6 integreator speakers. if not and you do want to replace the speaker size is 6 - 6.5 as they are fitted with spacers. i had to get my dealer to take my door cards off to find that out . . .

My Fabia 80 TDI Sport had the same problem on 3 occasions, always been when radio is on, it just fades out, CD works ok though if I change, but go back to radio and nothing.

As others have said, get back in the car a few hours later and bingo every things fine.

Only fault 4 months.
