New Brake light switch fitted - now I have a flashing glow plug light

Ive just fitted a new (the latest green one) brake light switch to the fabia after the last one failed. The reason we knew the old one had broken was because the brake lights had stuck on.

Now I have just tested the lights and they are working but now I have a flashing glow plug light...? Does the ECU need resetting when I have fitted a new brake light switch?

Any other ideas why it might be flashing after doing the brake light switch?

Seems to have stopped now after taking it for a drive :)
