Evening all,

Just wondering if any other PS3 owners got there invite to join HOME?

Been playing around for a few hours and look like it could be massive :)

BTW in what form does the invite arrive?

I think they are sending the invites out in stages ver the next few weeks

An announcement on the Official PlayStation Europe user forum confirms that invitations to the closed beta will be offered to winners of a weekly Warhawk online gaming event.[9] Kazuo Hirai, President and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, said that "Spending more time on the development and on the Closed Beta testing reaffirms our commitment to bringing a quality service, maintaining the PlayStation tradition."

Version 1.0 of Home has been released to Closed Beta testers on November 21, 2008.

Neither do I, but I got an invite yesterday.

EDIT: the invite has been sent for my US account rather than my UK one.

TBH you are not missing much, it's a bit like i'd guess second life is. It looks a bit like a cynical attempt to raise more money buy charging for bits for your apartment (plus more houses to put tat in too).

Well my invite arrived at 23:00 last night and the code expires on the 1/12/2008. :eek:

So I've fired up the PS3 before I left for work and downloaded the beta, hopefully have time to play with it when I get home this evening. :)

From the video's I've seen on the net it does look very much like second life.

you really are not missing anything, I agree with zoidberg. If anything I might delete the download as it's just using up space on my hard drive.

i got my invite last night not alot on it yet but its only a beta

For anyone who didn't get into the closed beta it went to open beta yesterday. You should be able to download from the PSN Store :D

Hopefully the content should improve now..

I've already deleted it. I think you need to be into sencon d life really to bother with it.
