Fabia Vrs Intercooler cleaning.

Having seen the diy clean up the intercooler with photos by Chicken Eyebrow for his Octavia.

I wonder if the same rather involved method applies to the Fabia.

I live on the A3 in Central London. If I spend too much time under my car bits and pieces, tools and other bits tend to disappear quickly.

Is it possible to access the smic and pipework a bit quicker than the method used in the Octavia cleanup. ??
