Hi,

I have just been given a Felicia 1.9D GLI and I was wondering what I could do to help improve the running of the engine. I know the cam belt is good as it has only done 20,000 miles and was changed 2 years ago. I am after suggestions like any additives I can use to help clear out any gunk or any other bits of work that will help bring the engine up to scratch as I can't say how well the car was looked after during the last year or so. Any help will be very appreciated.

My first thoughts would be:

Oil/Air/Fuel filters changed

Oil Change and new sump plug & Washer (they are cheap and least you know it's right:thumbup:)

As for additives, perhaps a engine flush before the oil change and afterwards, use Millers Diesel additive.

Used to use that in my Delica and it made her sing!
