been out in the felly tonight and became victim of black ice coming off a round about, the front bumpers shot will have to get a new one tomorrow , can anybody tell me how to remove the fornt bumper please? thanks tom :(

aww sorry to hear about that, hope you have some luck getting it fixed.

the haynes says, (not in exact wording)

remove the 2 bolts on the bit with the skoda badge, accessing via rear of indicators

remove the 2 screws ontop of the bonnet catch area where its held on.

remove pannel

remove 2 nuts and washers securing the front bumper at the top

from underneeth the car, remove the nuts and washers securing it to the front of the car

then loosen the nuts securing the left & right hand ends of the bumper to its mountings, there is no need to remove these nuts, bumper holes are slotted,

then manuver the bumper forwards and away from the car. (assistant would help)

the bolts you mention aren't bolts as such, they are socket headed self tapping screws

also there are a further 2 bolts either side of the radiator which hold the grille on:)

Should be a simple enough job to do. Just find a decent one in a scrap yard to replace it

Breakers yards will be the best bet

odne and dusted only found one scrap yeard that had one for my car in :/ all the others were for the face lifted model, cost me £30 for it removed aswell only good thing about this is that i have now got front fogs not wired up as yet but still
