Weitec Hi Con Tx Coilover Fitting On Polo 9n 1.9 Tdi Sport

Featured Replies

Hi,

I know it aint a Fabia but it is the same chassis. They are actually Weitecs for a Fabia so it counts!

I will be fitting my Weitecs in the next few weeks (should have been last week, but it didn't happen thanks to Strictly Dubs!).

What parts will I need to carry over from my old suspension? As I would rather just buy the parts new (I have bought £250 worth of bolts and bushes so I am not going the scrimp at the last bit!). I already have brand new top mounts and bearings, it looks like I need the top cups?

Thanks!

I havent got a clue mate, sorry. But if you could post up a load of pics when you do it and any tips/advice you pick up while you do it, cos I'm planning to put Weitec coilovers on my Fabia.

I would have thought top mounts and bearings would be all you ned ontop of the coil overs.

There arent any top cups on the fronts though, does that matter?

Thanks for the replys!

anyone? Will I need some top cups??

Why don't you try ringing one of the dealers who actually fit gear as well, Awesome/Jabba etc, to see if they can give you some advice, most of them are pretty helpful
