I bought a set of lowering springs 30mm and have the chance to buy 4 new tires at a really good price, but they are 215/45/17 instead of the normal 205/50/17 vrs tire.

Question: Will they rub when the car is 30mm lower????

The chances of rubbing will be minimal/none. Most members go from 205/50/17 to 225/45/17 so 215/45/17 is kind of in the middle, the main difference will be the rolling radius changing which will affect your speedometer. There is a tyre size calculator on here which will tell you how far your speedo will be out.

Apparently the Briskoda calculator is undergoing further development.

Not to worried about that, from ireland. So seeing a speed check isn't that common and seeing a speed camera is like winning the lotto, think i know of 3-4 in the whole country

Average speed camera here, ha don't think they have evr heard of it!!!!!
