after market sat nav EBay

Featured Replies

Ok members, I am just about to buy one of those after market sat nav that are available on EBay. I have studied the related threads re these things and once again thanks to the people who have taken to time to post stuff about them.

Final question ( I hope). I only have two speakers fitted to my vehicle. I see that the wiring is not available on the loom as it is now and that I would have to add wiring and speakers, which I don't fancy doing at the moment.

Is there a correct way to get all four audio outputs from the sat nav unit to play through the front speakers or is it just simply a case of not plugging the rear outputs in (as I don't have them anyway). Will I lose any music content?

thx etc

Tom

I think you'll be ok so long as the fader isn't biased to the rear.

Dont try to put four outputs through 2 speakers! Not a good idea at the best of times! Better off identify the front outputs, set the fader to the front and simply use those two until you can upgrade.
