Does anyone have AP coilovers?

Considering getting a set of my Fartbia.

What is the ride quality like? I have a missus and young daughter so dont want it to be awful.

I want to drop about 40-50mm, not slam it on its bum just close the awful gap between wheel and arch as I'm sure I'v got a family of hobbits living inside.

I am not just getting springs, because it doesnt drop low enough, and I had just springs on my corsa and the ride was awful.

Shocks and spring kits are also only about £40 cheaper than AP's

Not sure on the fabia, but a mate of mine had them on his veccy GSi and the ride was very, very, firm.

But it did make it handle like it was on rails

I have them on mine.

First set of coilovers ive had on a car.

The ride is fine, in my oppinion.

Joel, I'd put a post on Edition 38 to G-werks as they sell AP's and Weitecs and I couldn't decide between which set I wanted, with ride quality being a key factor. The response was;

'They are not as good as the weitec coilovers which is why there £150 cheaper. The ride is very slightly harder on these than with the hicon GT and the bump stop is of a lesser quailty. thats the differances for the £150 so if you budjet allows you wil be better with the weitec kit but if not you will not be dissapointed with the AP kit.'
