From the threads already on here about oil, it seems that the choice of oil for a PD engine is critical.

I want to carry out an oil change @ home, & wonder which oil products people use for their PD engines - I hear Quantum PD oil maybe a good one.

There doesnt seem to be many readily available on the high street & the ones that are out there are a tad expensive.

Would appreciate any ideas, cheers.

oil for these in Halfords etc is going to be expensive, in fact in general its more expensive than normal oil, but put the wrong stuff in you could be saying bye bye engine
