Dribbley Boot

Featured Replies

I know there is a way of stopping water getting into an opening hatch with mastic, where do I need to shove it as the rain ir ruining a good set of speakers:mad:

In a word NO.

Its just one of the things that you sadly learn to live with. Some have put mastic into the rain gully at the bottom of the window but hat still doesnt cure it fully. Ive just got used to gradually opening the boot lid now to let the water drain off gradually

As above just lift the boot slowly and makes it much better. I had the technique down so well with my Mk 1 I would get no water into the boot.

This drove me mad! I am now moving onto an estate so I hope they dont do this! I got sick of the boot getting soaked and the speakers wrecked.

Speakers in parcel shelf. Rubber Boot Liner into boot to collect any water. Thats what i had to do.

The estate is fine. Never had a problem.
