A few questions..... new VRS related!

Featured Replies

Well the bug has bitten and hard and i've started a wishlist on Awesome GTI (rear arb - coilovers etc etc!) And i started polishing my TT comps and fitted a set of LED sidelight bulbs.

I've got a few things I need answers to:-

I'm trying to get a set of headlight protectors for the car - any idea where I can get them? (main dealer only??)

Can you get rear mudflaps for a VRS? Mine only has front ones

Whats the brightest bulbs to upgrade to for both the dipped and full beam? i dont want HIDS (I can get the super extreme brilliance bulbs from my work - Halfords)

Where do I tap into for a mechanical boost gauge? (Pic's please??)

Are 205/40/17's the best size to use?? (car is going to be lowered about 50mm)

Cheers

Im running 215/40R17's

Little bit wider, looks a litle better and seems to fill the arches better too :)

Only downside is the tyres are a little more expensive than 205's...
