Help Needed with Regards to Audio System for the Superb.

Featured Replies

I notice that those superb that come with the cd changers , the changers itself is install at the rear of the superb.

There are supporting brackets for the changer and also for an amp. I like to inquire where can i source for the brackets on the rear of the superb which is on the left side when u open the boot.

Also i have purchase a JVC KW-AVX815 Double din headunit. My original is a single din sym unit. I will need the following acessories as per attachment, however i have been sourcing and sourcing but none is sending over to Singapore. Now i am having a good useless Double Din Set lying around in my boot of the car..

Can anyone intro me where to purchase or anyone who can help me in anyway?

Appreciates lots.

Strange one that.

Looking at the cart, it seems as though you've got two items that do the same thing (i.e. the steering wheel control) which seems a bit of a waste of money. Also, one of them is for a CAN-BUS system and AFAIK the Superb I doesn't use this.

What year's your Superb?

As for shipping - pass - but I'd guess that if you purchased the items from eBay or similar they'll be a seller over towards your neck of the woods. I don't know of a "large" UK based company who would ship these items to Singapore.

HI,

I own a year 2006 Facelifted Superb. The facelifted Superb come with a steering control unit on the steering itself. Therefore i will need to have an interface so that they can use it.

Anyway i have sourced Ebay and they also dont have the double din Adapter which i required.

Hiaz... I dunno whether is it a duplicate items as i cannot take chances becoz i dont want to install half way and i realise that i am missing some parts.

A fair point.

IMHO I'd be suprised if an '06 Superb was full CAN-BUS. Even those fitted with the MFD navigation effectively used ISO wiring.

Still, good luck, let us know how it goes!

If you intend to use the cd changer with the JVC forget it, iirc no one has managed to get the changer to work with another head unit. hth.

I've not known any cases where an aftermarket unit could control an OE changer. I've come across things the other way around, but even when someone like Blaupunkt make OE (CD Changer) equipment they rarely (if ever) work with even their own brand of aftermarket.
