wiper issues

Featured Replies

I have had a squeak for a while, which i have ignored, the last week it has gotten worse. I don't know if it is the weather or that the linkage is well on its way now, but it has stalled a couple of times.

On this basis i think it is time i did something. I have found the threads with the method, but what i don't know is what i need to do the job.

What do i need to strip the mechanism down?

to get into the mechanism you need to remove both wiper arms then remove the scuttle panel, once you've done that you will see the wiper linkage and I think theres only 3 screws holding it in and the wiring plug will be located behind the wiper linkage. It takes a bit of wriggling but the wiper linkage will come out.
