I am on my second Fabia Mk1 and they have both had problems with the EMS light. This seems to be quite common on Fabia Mk1. They have been reliable otherwise. How is the Fabia Mk2 in this area?

Bit early to tell yet as the oldest cars are only around a year old.

Most of the posts on this forum re EMS lights seem to be related to earlier cars posted here by mistake.

excuse my lack of technical knowledge, what is a EMS light ,or is better I don,t know as it could keep me awake at night. MERRY XMAS.

EMS engine management system, AKA Check Engine or Lambda or MIL (Malfunction Indictor) Lamp.
