CD multichanger fixed under warranty?!?!

My cd multichanger decided to go t*ts up on Sunday, so booked into D M Keith in Bradford. I went in on Tuesday evening and got a call yesterday telling me the problem was the copied cds in the magazine not the cd player itself:confused:?????????? Thought they might say this, but the fact is I have never played an original in it (I'm concerned about scratching originals so put copies in the car, sad but true!). They also said audio equipment wasn't covered by extended warranty which I got from Skoda dealers when I bought the car in April. I was actually told it was the same warranty with a used car as it is with a new car (not manufacturers). The garage said they would have another fiddle with the multichanger to see what the could do but said I had to put up with a broken one or pay an exorbitant amount for a new one if they couldn't do anything. By this time I was ready for a war of words but decided to wait and hear if it could be fixed. Anyway I got a call today saying that they had contacted skoda who said it is covered by the warranty so it will be fixed after all! Whoooo Hoooo!

But they won't fix the leaking door, but that's another story.
