I'm back, I was originally here years ago with a Fabia 1.4 8v - you know, the slow one

then I had a 01 Passat Saloon 100PD (remapped to 135), then a 51 Passat Estate 130PD Sport (remapped to 163)... then the dreaded plenum chamber block meant I needed to spend hundred of pounds replacing the brake pads, calipers, and master servo plus about a month or two before my water pump went meaning I had to pay out for cambelt (again!) and waterpump :( decided enough was enough and sold it...

and today I've bought a black Octavia VRS ex police car

any hints or tips, or anything I need to know?

Don't worry it's had a full service history - just need to double check that it had the waterpump done when the cambelt was done,

Mate I'm in the same boat as you, mines got 85,000 miles on but has a full skoda service history, got mine on tuesday, Im wondering what checks will ensure we have a happy life (Couple of years) together
