thanks for comments, yeah its £35 a year road tax and free parking in council run carparks on the isle of wight, white roof comes as standard graphics done as extra but friendly salesman at skoda dealer fitted them all for free !

well impressed by performance of the little engine , climate as standard, sunglass holder which is to small for my wifes D&G sunglasses lol.rear spoiler was an extra plus parking sensors, :)

Nice looking car mate, quick question what is the diffrence between the Blueline and Greenline mate?

Got to admit I do like the colour, graphics and white roof works well.

Very nice indeed mate! Is it only Skoda's that can park for free in council run car parks on the I.O.W.???

carparks on the island any low emission car under 120co2 can park for free for so many hours, short stay 3 hours long stay 8 hours , i think the main difference between the two is greenline has particulate filter and is slightly longer geared and skinny tyres to make emissions even less, blueline seems to have more kit supplied as standard, our garage over here had a petrol and tdi model that where both sold in 1st week and they cant get anymore as only 500 being made ! although the blue is not metallic its looks almost black in some light but i think its works well with roof and graphics, also door graphics are reflective at night time. thankyou for all comments so far :)

What's the car like, thinking of getting one for other half, dealer in east bourne giving me a good deal on one....?

car is really nice and well put together, feels solid on the road and corners like its on rails and extras that come above base fabia 2 makes it well worth the price, the torque developed by the engine is amazing as a former vrs owner i was well impressed by 1.4tdi unit, its a bit noisy engine wise but i have assured by the briskodian family that this will die down after a couple of thousand miles, still trying to understand climatic control system but that me just worrying about aircon being on all the time so im hoping econ button rectifies this ?

so overall a great purchase if they did a estate version i would buy one of those as well , hope this helps...

Nice looking car Fabman.

If they'd had an Estate version back in July I might have ordered one instead of my 3.

Hope it's easier to keep clean than my Brialliant Silver colour though as it picks up road dirt really quickly!

Pacific Blue looks very dark, almost black!

Good choice thought, I reckon the Blueline is very good value for money. Especially now with the free servicing offer!

Looks nice. Is the Blueline a special edition like it was on the Favorit and Octavia??

yep sure is comes with white roof ,climate, under seat storage , 15mm lowered suspension as extras, added graphics and roof spoiler plus parking sensors as options, great car my wife loves the gruff engine

Thanks for info car does look good.

Nearly there with the dealer.

Did you take out finance.., or was it straight deal,

If so did you get the free servicing without doing the finance..?

mine was straight p/x and cash so was not aware on free servicing , :( but maybe you can find out if applies on both seeing your in the market , then i can hopefully bully dealer into offering free servicing, you will not be disapointed i can assure you.

First ever post on Briskoda as I am about to become a Skoda owner soon.

That blueline looks good I must say. I have ordered a Blueline 1.2 Petrol myself couple days ago waiting for Skoda to deliver. They did not have the actual model in the Skoda showroom but from the brochure and the Fabia 2 model, I thought it would come with a spoiler of sorts?

As I am twiddling my thumbs while waiting for the car was wondering how many speakers in total this car had cos the brochure says additonal 6 speakers and the fabia 1 has 4 so are we talking 10 in total!!.

Also I did p/x with outstanding balance paid by cash and was offered the 3 year servicing deal, so im sure the servicing is offered to every new blueline purchase.

Thanks

welcome to briskoda, hope your new purchase brings you many years of enjoyable driving
