I have today purchased another low mileage damaged vRS Fabia. I am in two minds:

1. Sell on and make a quick small profit
   
2. Convert another estate as per this thread, example photo below
   

Was gauging interest as to wether someone would be interested in buying one. It would be built to standard vrs spec + cruise control but could then have any modifications done at the same time for example Sachs clutch, Eibachs, Hybrid turbo, bigger brakes, bodykit, wheels etc

Base price would be start around £5-6k depending on age of donor estate. Mileage would show as 38k as that is what the vrs has done. This would be finished on the road with 1years MOT and tax, and could be ready in about 3 months. At the moment, buyer could request a colour as I have not got an estate yet.

Ah, fair enough. I wasn't sure how bad the damage was and what any repair costs were likely to be. Cat C makes it sound pretty nasty though. What about something a little different like a conversion into a VW Caddy, or a Mk1 Golf?

Was tempted to try a 250 bhp diesel elise! Torque may be a bit too much in a small mid engined car, also a bit too heavy, would upset the handling too much

What about in a kit-car? You have some experience in that field already no?

I am thinking about other projects, may need to depending on what happens in F1 in the next few months!

Still looking out for another vrs too, will buy them all at the right money, joys of trade only salvage sites!
