evoms air intakes

Featured Replies

made an early new years resolution to treat my self more often so

im looking at revo stage 2 upgrade now:D,plus suspension upgrade:D(then very possibly a divorce when she finds out:eek:)

but i was wondering

when you get your car serviced they normally change the air filters etc, what is the deal with these intakes, surely there must be some sort of filter element to replace when i gets clogged up. if so where do you buy it or get cleaning products from:confused:

or do i just upgrade the exhaust and air intake and update my bluefin to stage 2 and save my self 570 quid. it would still give me 259bhp and 271Ib/ft torque.??????

which is just like the stage 1 map in that it gives slightly more power but slightly less torque than revo, too many choices for my liking, lol :confused:

The Filters are normally cotton so can be washed every 5000 miles or so.I use vanish oxy cleaner leave in the sink in boiling water for half an hour then good as new but leave to dry for a few hours. Before putting back on.

Funny that so did I

Bluefin is great if you aren't chasing big numbers, I'd consider sticking with that as you already have it.

yeah im thinking that, i like the idea of big hp and torque of revo but in reality i think the less aggressive map of bluefin would be more drivable in the real world, especially with just two wheels for driving and steering
