Was just wondering if anyone (apart from Monsieur Monkeyboy) has attempted a mega Octy RS install of the stereo variety.

What we are talking about here is total fit out of kit, with false floor, amps, subs, components, power cap(s) and hidden wires. Basically the total tart treatment, full on install.

Why do I ask??? Well out of curiosity, as I am into my third week of install and we have just completed cutting the floor, sides, compartments, sizing up where the amps, subs, wiring and all the other nice bits are going. I think it's going to take another 6-8 weeks to complete.

As you can tell it's no 5 min job, so was wondering what other mental cases like me might have done with their beloveds (car that is )

Oh..and yes I will be documenting the entire thing with piccies.

mine was a bit more simple to what yours sounds like its going to be...but still had all you listed above

thats all out after being in for 5 weeks i weighed it all and i was carring 11.5 stone of extra weight :eek:

and another one is in smaller and lighter install has gone in coming in at only 3 stone

I think I'm the only one with a mega Fabia install (soon anyway) Will be ready for TRAX.

edited to say its not a complicated one, false floor subs on top, amps under - sorted.

I am still waiting for my amps but hopefully get them by the end of the week. Sure it will all change next year :eek:

Got bigger problems at the moment like trying to get my new wheels under the arch's :thumbdwn: :( without touching the coilovers
