Opening a PDS file ??

Featured Replies

SWMBO got a new digital camera from Santa, and I was having a mess with the video function the other day, but when I downloaded the video onto my PC, it downloaded as a PDS file (:confused:), which won't open :mad:.

I have tried downloading various freebie programs from the net to open it, but none worked, anyone got any suggestions ??

You probably need to access the camera with software that came with it. My guess is what you are looking at is the raw data store. If the camera is recording in DV then you need to import it direct from the camera.

Think I did that....I connected the camera to the computer, then it downloaded into Power Director Express, and appeared to be okay, but when I went back into it the following day, it wouldn't open. Having "Googled" the problem, it appears that Power Director frequently experiences this problem. Any ideas ??
