Hot air in the cabin.

Featured Replies

Hello

My car is Octavia Vrs MK1 from 2003.

Some few days ago it started to enter hot air for the entrances of the conditional air.

This happens with the car in movement.

Can somebody give a help please.

I'm guessing your car has air conditioning, or the Climatronic system (which includes air con) as standard.

With Climatronic, check the ambient temperature is actually below the requested cabin temperature before anything else!

If that ok, next try resetting the air handling flaps. Do this by semi-randomly pressing all the control buttons for a couple of minutes.

If that doesn't sort it, with a 5 or 6 year old car I'd get a Skoda dealer or automotive air con specialist to look at it, since it might well need regassing.

Hy.

Climatronic is off. I judge to be of the rubber that isolates capon.

I go to ask for its substitution in the dealer.

Thanks
