This isn't the first (and it won't be the last!) post on insurance premiums. Here's another indication of how daft the situation is.

Received renewal notice this morning for one of our car's insurance. Putting in exactly the same details FOR THE SAME COMPANY, here are the results.

Moneysupermarket.com £362.31

Insurance company website £319.13

Chris Knott renewal £203.89

I'll need to spend the rest of the day deciding which one to choose.

mine is just up for renewal, the quote I got with the same company was £460, I have now found one for the same cover for £290 :eek:

I take it you're going with moneysupermarket because they have a good reputation..

After running a search on moneysupermarket, tescocompare, confused.com and talking to several brokers including CK and AF... as much as I hate to say it (as i hate their TV ads) confused came up with the cheapest quote for me by some margin over the brokers and a decent amount from the other two..
